When you found out about Robbie and Amy, what did you think?
Thought it was a miracle/answered that Don and De had found this opportunity.
Describe your first impressions of when you met them?
I had a wonderful impression of Amy and Robbie. Admired them for making such an selfless decision...thought wow, they are incredible people to make this kind of decision at such a young age.
What did your extended family say about the adoption?
We thought it was an answered prayer/miracle.
What did your friends say about the adoption?
Thought it was unbelievable!
How do/did you tell people about the adoption?
Tell them the facts.
What questions do people always ask you about the adoption? And how do you answer?
They usually ask how does Amy handle living so close and think that she would have a hard time with it.
What has contact been like since Deanna was born?
We see her at family get togethers and holidays.
What event stands out in your mind about our journey? (whether funny, silly, serious, sweet)
Just how well all parties have adjusted to the situation and how it has benefitted them all in such a wonderful way.....ways no one could have imagined.
